As a crucial link in the flooring supply chain, the Order Desk Specialist is responsible for ensuring seamless and accurate processing of all customer flooring material orders. This role demands exceptional communication and attention to detail to serve as the primary point of contact for clients while expertly coordinating order fulfillment across sales, production, logistics, and inventory teams.

salary: $22 - $23 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Process and Manage Orders: Receive, accurately enter, and process incoming customer orders via various channels (phone, email, electronic systems).
  
  
• Customer Communication: Serve as the primary contact for order-related inquiries, updates, issue resolution, and pricing/delivery questions.
  
  
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment by collaborating with sales, production, logistics, and warehouse teams.
  
  
• Order Tracking and Oversight: Monitor order status from entry through production and delivery, providing customers with timely updates.
  
  
• Record Keeping & Data Integrity: Maintain accurate order, invoice, and customer interaction records; ensure the integrity of pricing and shipping data in the order management system.
  
  
• Inventory Support: Coordinate with inventory teams to confirm product availability and accurate stock levels.
