About the Role
We are seeking a high-impact Regional Operations Manager (internally known as a Transitional Market General Manager) to serve as a strategic interim leader during management transitions. This role is designed for a "road warrior" who excels in change management, operational stabilization, and talent development. You will be the primary on-site leader responsible for maintaining high performance and training incoming permanent managers to ensure long-term success. Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of successful managerial experience in operations or logistics.
- Travel: Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time to various regional locations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ lbs as needed for operational tasks.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Transitional Leadership: Act as the primary on-site leadership contact and trainer for incoming permanent managers.
- Change Management: Stabilize market operations during leadership gaps to ensure consistent productivity and adherence to company standards.
- People Development: Manage and develop a workforce that follows company policies while fostering a culture where team members can bring their "whole selves" to work.
- Financial Accountability: Assume full ownership of the P&L, including budget performance and accounts receivable (AR) management.
- Operational Optimization: Analyze weekly scorecards to identify and fix financial or operational deficiencies.
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels and local supply chains to align strictly with selling activity and demand.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all facilities meet safety standards and maintain eligibility for forklift certification.
