Core Responsibilities
- Compliance Reporting: Prepare and file certified payroll, prevailing wage, and OCIP reports in a timely manner.
- Data Validation: Audit payroll data to ensure strict adherence to prevailing wage laws and specific contractual obligations.
- Systems Management: Manage file uploads across various online reporting platforms, troubleshooting errors and ensuring successful submissions.
- Regulatory Research: Stay ahead of changing reporting requirements and configure systems to reflect new mandates.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with subcontractors, owner-operators, and project teams to ensure documentation is complete and compliant.
- Expert Resource: Interpret union agreements and wage determinations to apply correct rates to specific projects; provide guidance on prevailing wage inquiries.
- Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience managing certified payroll and OCIP reporting.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent blend of professional training and industry experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of Davis-Bacon, as well as federal, state, and local prevailing wage regulations.
- Software Proficiency: Skilled in LCPTracker or similar reporting tools, alongside a command of the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- Construction Expertise: Prior experience with union fringes, labor laws, and multi-state construction payroll is highly preferred.
- Precision: Exceptional data entry skills and an eagle eye for detail.
- Communication: Ability to translate complex payroll data into clear information for both internal teams and external clients.
- Adaptability: A positive attitude when facing tight deadlines or shifting project requirements.
- Professionalism: Proven ability to interact effectively with everyone from field staff to executive leadership and external vendors.

Responsibilities

- Support project teams and external customers with project set up related to reporting requirements
- Interpret union agreements and understand wage determinations to make sure correct rates are applied to the appropriate projects
