We are seeking an Accounting Clerk in Prospect, CT, for a role that goes beyond basic AP/AR. You’ll be the 'source of truth' for the company’s financial data—managing daily timesheet reporting, calculating sales commissions, and performing deep-dive shipping audits. Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Data Integrity:
  
  
  • Execute daily timesheet reporting to ensure labor hours were accurately tracked for payroll and project costing.
    
    
  • Maintain comprehensive daily and monthly master spreadsheets to track all operational financial activity.
    
    
• Accounts Payable (AP) & Expense Management:
  
  
  • Perform daily three-way matching of invoices to purchase orders and receipts prior to data entry.
    
    
  • Reconcile and balance corporate credit card expenses, ensuring proper coding and documentation.
    
    
• Accounts Receivable (AR) & Cash Management:
  
  
  • Monitor bank portals daily to pull receivables and accurately apply cash to outstanding customer accounts.
    
    
  • Manage the full-cycle collections process, professionally following up on past-due accounts to improve cash flow.
    
    
• Specialized Tracking & Analysis:
  
  
  • Calculate and balance sales commissions, ensuring sales teams were paid accurately based on performance metrics.
    
    
  • Audite and tracke monthly shipping costs via Excel to monitor logistics spending and identify discrepancies
    
    
  • Knowledge of Hennings , Esti-track systems
