Randstad is seeking a proactive, high-energy Intermodal Dispatch Coordinator to join a fast-paced administrative team. This role is the "nerve center" of our client’s operations, responsible for the strategic utilization of 100–120 drivers, trucks, and containers. We are looking for a self-starting professional and a dedicated team player—someone who brings a sharp, intuitive edge to their work and is ready to put in the effort required to keep a massive fleet moving. This is a high-volume desk with constant touchpoints; the ideal candidate thrives on multitasking and has the professional stamina to stay ahead of a rapidly changing schedule.

Responsibilities

Logistics Operations & Coordination

• Strategic Routing: Optimize driver assignments and develop sophisticated routing for complex LTL and FTL pick-up and delivery schedules.
  
  
• Fleet Liaison: Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for a large fleet, providing professional instruction and logistical support.
  
  
• bilingual Correspondence: Utilize English and Spanish fluency to maintain professional and efficient communication across all levels of the operation.
  
  
• Operational Synchronization: Strategically coordinate the movement of third-party assets and freight between cities to maximize productivity.
  
  
• Data Administration: Manage real-time data entry into in-house systems to maintain precise, audit-ready operational records.
  
  
• Logistical Problem Resolution: Proactively resolve routing hurdles or delays to ensure prompt, executive-level service to all customers.
  
  
• Client & Executive Liaison: Manage high-volume inquiries via phone and email with a high degree of urgency and professional etiquette.
  
  
• Cross-Functional Planning: Collaborate with various internal departments to align daily workflows with organizational productivity goals.
