This is an Urgent Contract to Hire opportunity to join a well established and growing manufacturing company in Largo, FL. This position is onsite with hybrid flexibility once established. Staff Accountant with full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience and SAP system is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to manage our full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. In this role, you will be the engine behind our daily financial operations, ensuring that vendors are paid accurately and customer collections are handled efficiently. 

Accounts Payable (AP) Management

• Invoice Processing: Manage the end-to-end AP workflow in SAP, including 3-way matching of purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices.
  
  
• Disbursements: Coordinate weekly payment runs (ACH, Wire, Check) and ensure all vendor discounts are captured.
  
  
• Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and perform monthly statement reconciliations.
  
  

Accounts Receivable (AR) & Collections

• Billing: Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices and credit memos.
  
  
• Cash Application: Post daily cash receipts (Lockbox, ACH, Credit Card) against open invoices in SAP.
  
  
• Collections: Monitor aging reports and conduct professional follow-ups on overdue accounts to minimize DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).

SAP (2 years of experience is preferred)

Accounts Payable (3 years of experience is preferred)

Accounts Receivable (2 years of experience is preferred)
