We are currently seeking a meticulous and highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our team during a pivotal period of organizational growth. This role is designed for a proactive leader who can maintain the integrity of our daily operations while serving as a strategic partner during a major enterprise software transition.

salary: $80 - $90 per hour

Responsibilities

• Equity Transactions: Manage the end-to-end payroll processing for equity-based compensation, including NQSOs, ISOs, RSUs, and ESPP. Ensure proper tax withholding and reporting for multi-jurisdictional mobile employees.
  
  
• Reorganization & M&A Support: Lead the payroll execution for corporate reorganizations, including entity transfers, mass hie-ins, terminations, and "successor/predecessor" tax logic.
  
  
• Workday Administration: Serve as the functional expert for the Workday Payroll module. Build and maintain pay components, logic for calculations, and audit reports to ensure data integrity.
  
  
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all equity and reorg activities comply with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders for year-end reporting (W-2/1099).
  
  
• Process Improvement: Identify manual gaps in current equity-to-payroll workflows and implement automated solutions within Workday.
