Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Wrangle and engineer data from multiple internal and external sources; build reliable pipelines and curate data products.
- Develop models and analytics (e.g., ML for prediction/optimization, timeseries, NLP, computer vision) with thorough assessment of tradeoffs to extract insights from multiple datasets.
- Create dashboards & tools (Tableau/Power BI; occasional web apps) to enable stakeholder decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with scientists, engineers, product, and business stakeholders; present findings clearly and with clear tie-in to organizational impact
- Learn rapidly—pick up new scientific domains, frameworks, and methods; cite and apply learnings from primary literature when relevant, proven comfort taking and iterating on feedback
- Operate with sensitivity for data quality, security, privacy, and governance, especially in regulated or sensitive environments.
- Clinical Analytics: patient enrollment forecasting, feasibility analytics, scaling & automation of study analytics
- R&D AI/ML: property prediction of chemical compounds, synthesis planning, Bayesian optimization of reaction conditions
- Electronics R&D: materials/process modeling, descriptive analytics & visualization, optimization workflows
- Data Platforms: cloud data architecture, ETL/ELT, PySpark pipelines, observability, MLOps
