Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 1+ years of directly related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge and practical/hands on experience with assembly of electro-mechanical components and systems.

Responsibilities
- May be responsible for any/all stages in the engineering lifecycle: requirements gathering, concept development, design, analysis, prototyping, testing, production release, maintenance and support.
- Design innovative products and systems to interface with machines, hardware, and software.
- Identify, specify mechanical and electro-mechanical components when required.
- Evaluate designs using engineering principles and analysis techniques.
- Rapid prototyping.
- Hands-on assembly of electro-mechanical components and systems.
- Component and system level testing.
- Submit Engineering Change Orders.
- Create technical drawings and/or interfaces with drafter/designers to ensure design intent.
- Interface with suppliers during product development to expedite and coordinate part deliveries and resolve design issues with suppliers.
- Evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
- Interface with technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications.
- Periodic travel for integration sessions at other sites and supporting build, test, or customer events.
