We are looking for a dynamic Automotive Technical Trainer & Development Consultant to lead technical launch training for cutting-edge OEM vehicle assembly plants across North America. Your Impact and Opportunities
- Empower Teams: Instruct and consult plant personnel, elevating their mastery of intricate, interconnected vehicle systems.
- Solve Complex Challenges: Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve assembly deficiencies and electrical sub-system hurdles.
- Innovate Training: Design and develop high-impact materials, including vehicle architectures and schematics, translating engineering data into actionable knowledge.
- Strategic Liaison: Act as the vital link between product engineering and general assembly, validating processes before the Start of Regular Production (SORP).
- Expand Your Reach: Support various OEM sites across the US, Canada, and Mexico, sharing lessons learned to drive continental excellence.
- Expertise: At least 4 years of experience in automotive instructional design or manufacturing instruction. (8 years’ experience may substitute for a degree).
- Technical Precision: Advanced knowledge of automotive systems, OEM manufacturing tracking, and dynamic testing systems.
- Diagnostic Mastery: Proficiency with digital multimeters, scan tools, and interpreting complex electrical schematics/harness prints.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to lead both one-on-one and group sessions.
- Credentials: ASE Certifications and an Associate’s degree in Automotive Technology or Engineering preferred.
- Flexibility: Readiness for 75% travel and the ability to thrive in both classroom and active plant environments.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Environment: A mix of professional office/classroom settings and energetic assembly plants.
