We are launching a mission-critical Contract Management System (CMS) implementation and need a dedicated Excel expert to lead the charge on data migration. This isn't just about moving data—it’s about ensuring that 600+ high-value contracts transition with zero errors. Working 3 days a week in our Des Moines office, you will be the final gatekeeper of our data, transforming raw contract details into a structured, upload-ready masterpiece. If you are an Excel enthusiast and enjoy deep-focus work, logic checking, and working with mounds of data, this is the project for you.
salary: $25 - $28 per hour

Responsibilities
- Audit and extract critical data points (titles, renewal dates, and financial terms) directly from 600+ legal contract documents.
- Construct structured Excel templates designed for seamless system ingestion, adhering to strict formatting and import rules.
- Execute complex data manipulation using conditional formulas and logic checks to identify inconsistencies before they hit the new system.
- Validate 100% of line-item data to ensure absolute accuracy between legacy files and the new CMS environment.
- Consolidate fragmented contract information from various internal repositories, shared drives, and legacy systems into a single source of truth.
- Develop and maintain detailed project logs and trackers to provide real-time updates on migration progress.
- Investigate missing information or unclear contract language, escalating discrepancies to the internal legal and project teams.
- Standardize raw data into uniform formats, ensuring all date strings, currency values, and naming conventions meet system requirements.
- Collaborate with the project team in a hybrid capacity (3 days on-site in Des Moines) to meet aggressive implementation deadlines.
