Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will drive technical excellence across technical systems, grounds, and administrative requirements. Your Contribution
- Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day technical infrastructure, maintenance, and repairs for owned and leased properties.
- System Mastery: Manage complex systems including BAS, HVAC plants, UPS/battery systems, and emergency generators to ensure maximum uptime.
- Strategic Oversight: Lead in-house maintenance crews and external contractors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Resiliency Planning: Drive 24/7 contingency and BCP/DR planning, maintaining a calm, confident presence during emergencies.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage expense and capital budgets, reporting on operational trends and project files via CAD.
- Experience: 5+ years in commercial property management (Healthcare or University facilities experience is highly valued; residential experience is not applicable).
- Leadership: 3+ years of supervisory experience with a knack for motivating diverse teams and contractors.
- Technical Savvy: Deep understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC, fire alarms, and network topologies.
- Certification: An IFMA CFM or similar certification is a plus.
