Responsibilities
Responsibilities include leading month-end, close quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Prepare complex journal entries and financial statements, reconciling general ledger, bank, and asset accounts. Investigating and resolving account discrepancies and irregularities. Review the work of junior accountants and staff. Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and recommending cost-reduction measures. Analyzing financial data, performance metrics, and trends to support forecasting. Assisting with budget preparation and variance analysis. High attention to detail for reviewing complex financial data and detecting discrepancies.
