A growing technology company has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Accounting Manager or Supervisor, or a Sr. Accountant ready to take the next step into a manager role.  We are looking for a CPA, CPA track, with hands-on experience supporting all accounting functions and operations with day-to-day financial activities, daily cash reports and quarterly cash flow, sales tax compliance and monthly & quarterly consolidated financial statements of the company. Publicly traded company experience is a plus.  We are looking for someone who wants to continue to learn and grow, can wear many hats, thrive with a collaborative team and assist with process improvement, systems and automation projects.  

salary: $110,000 - $130,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Hands-on day-to-day financial activities, cash reports, and cash flow analysis,  tax compliance, reporting, project accounting and financials, and monthly, quarterly consolidated financial statements 
• Develop and implement improved internal audit control policies, procedures, and financial planning as needed and support and manage automation of key aspects of payables, reportingrelated processes, and some ad-hoc reporting.
• Implement accounting policies and procedures that adhere to governmental financial and tax regulations and comply with GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Oversee accounting close processes and reporting.
• Evaluate accounting processes and systems and implement optimizations.
• Maintain documented system of accounting policies and operations.
• Manage processing accounts receivable and collection of payments.
• Maintain cash report, cash flow, and funding balances.
• Maintain an organized filing system of all accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank statements, account reconciliations, and stock transactions.
• Prepare and organize monthly financial statements for senior management.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly/annual financial reports for public company accounting, 10Q and 10K.
• Assist in the management of budgets and forecasts.
