Working closely with our outside CPA, you will be the internal anchor for our financial operations. This role is focused on project integrity and data accuracy (please note: Payroll is handled separately to ensure segregation of duties).
- Project & Cost Accounting: Manage the financial health of 20–30 ongoing projects using QuickBooks Desktop. Perform job costing, allocate labor/material expenses, and prepare Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports to track revenue recognition.
- Full-Cycle AP/AR: Execute 3-way matching for subcontractor and vendor invoices. Manage milestone-based client billing and oversee collections to ensure healthy cash flow.
- GL & Reconciliations: Maintain the General Ledger with precise coding. Perform monthly bank and corporate credit card reconciliations to ensure audit readiness.
- Compliance & Audit Support: Serve as the primary liaison for the outside CPA, providing documentation for financial statements, taxes, and year-end audits. Track subcontractor W-9s and insurance certificates.
- Process Improvement: Utilize MS Excel and Office 365 to streamline reporting and improve daily office efficiency.

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Required).
- Technical: Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Basic Excel (Assessment required).
- Location: Must reside within a 20-mile radius of Jupiter, FL.
- Soft Skills: strong organizational skills, a high level of integrity, and a team-first attitude.
- Base Salary: Up to $75,000 (Commensurate with experience).
- Insurance Stipend: $400 Monthly Tax-Free Stipend ($4,800/year) paid bi-weekly via direct deposit to contribute toward private insurance.
- Retirement: 401K with a 4% Company Match (Eligible after 1 year).
- Paid Time Off: 10 PTO days + 1 additional day for every year of service.
- Holidays: Paid time off for all nationally recognized holidays.
- Work Life: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. No remote work.
