Order Management & Customer Service
- Receive and handle customer service calls, emails, and faxes professionally and in a timely manner.
- Process orders accurately, ensuring product, quantity, pricing, and notes are correct.
- Review bills of lading for accuracy and resolve potential issues.
- Generate invoices and assist the Accounting department with transactions where applicable.
- Run daily open order reports to ensure all orders have shipped or been released to warehouses.
- Process sample orders as required. Sales & Team Support
- Provide direct support to management and the sales team as needed.
- Establish and foster relationships with customers to build trust and reliability.
- Communicate stock outs and future customer needs to the sales force and materials management.
- Interact with materials management and purchasing to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Field customer complaints and work collaboratively to resolve them.
- Maintain detailed customer files, including contacts, shipping requirements, and locations. Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in department meetings to discuss customer, product, or industry news.
- Coordinate with other coordinators throughout the organization to stay current on trends.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of company processes and systems.
- Seek opportunities to share best practices with the support staff and other divisions. Education and Experience
Required Qualifications
- Experience: At least three (1-2) years of customer service, sales support, or inside sales experience.
- Software: Required experience with customer management software (CMS).
- Skills: strong attention to detail, excellent data entry, calculation, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or regulated distribution industries.
