- Mortgage Experience: Demonstrated experience in mortgage processing, specifically managing loan files through to closing.
- Software Mastery: Hands-on experience with Encompass within the last 3–5 years is required.
- Guideline Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of FHA and VA guidelines.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Functional understanding of state/federal mortgage regulations; UST Certification is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for data tracking and professional correspondence.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex mortgage terms clearly to applicants and follow up consistently to secure required documentation.

Responsibilities
The Qualified Assumption Processor will work with applicants who wish to assume the mortgage terms and payment of qualified mortgage loans.
The Qualified Assumption Processor will:
- Discuss qualified assumption process, requirements and steps with applicants (When applicable)
- Analyze and evaluate documentation received from customers
- Input any required information into the underwriting module accurately and within established time frames
- Submit completed application and documents to operations/underwriter
- Follow the standard purchase operational flow through underwriting and submission to the closing dept
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
- Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
