Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle bi-weekly and monthly payroll for over 500 employees across multiple states, ensuring 100% accuracy in gross-to-net calculations, tax withholdings, and direct deposits.
  
  
• Maintain rigorous adherence to FLSA, FICA, and FUTA regulations, while staying current on evolving Texas and multi-state labor laws to mitigate tax penalties and legal risks.
  
  
• Oversee the integrity of the ADP/Paychex databases, utilizing automated workflows and AI-driven auditing tools to streamline data entry and reconcile payroll to the General Ledger.
  
  
• Administer complex voluntary and involuntary deductions—including 401(k) contributions, health premiums, and court-ordered wage garnishments—ensuring timely remittance to third-party agencies.
  
  
• Independently manage complex payroll cycles across diverse tax jurisdictions, ensuring precise calculation of "lived-in" vs. "worked-in" state taxes and maintaining compliance with varying state-mandated sick leave and disability laws.
