What You’ll Do
- Lead with Impact: Supervise and develop team leads and operators, fostering accountability through daily Tier meetings and Gemba walks.
- Drive Efficiency: Execute daily production plans to hit KPIs for labor efficiency, downtime, and throughput.
- Champion Lean: Lead Kaizen events and Quality Circles. You’ll be the expert on-site for 5S, Standard Work, and Visual Management.
- Solve Problems: Use DMAIC, 5 Why, and Fishbone methodologies to perform root-cause analysis and reduce scrap/rework.
- Prioritize Safety: Maintain a "Zero Incident" culture through daily audits and behavior-based observations.
- Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday – Thursday, 4/10 schedule).
- Hours: 2:00 PM – 1:00 AM (with flexibility for shift handoffs).
- Environment: This is a hands-on, non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility.
- Experience: 3–5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Lean Expertise: Proven track record leading Kaizen events and implementing Lean tools.
- Technical Skills: Ability to interpret production data and knowledge of quality systems (PFMEA, SPC, Control Plans).
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required; technical degree or Lean certification preferred.
- Logistics: Reliable transportation to our Grand Prairie facility and the ability to work in varying temperatures.

- Ensure compliance with all OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Execute daily production plans to meet schedule attainment and fill rate targets
- Monitor labor efficiency, downtime, and throughput to meet KPI targets
- Coordinate staffing and resources to ensure balanced production flow
- Lead and support Kaizen events (Quality Circles) focused on waste reduction and process improvement
- Drive implementation of Lean tools: 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, Flow, and Pull Systems
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, control plans, and work instructions
- Lead root cause analysis using DMAIC, 5 Why, Fishbone methodologies
- Reduce defects, rework, and scrap through proactive process control
- Supervise, coach, and develop team leads and operators
- Conduct daily Gemba walks and Tier meetings
- Drive accountability through performance management and training plans
- Track and report KPIs: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale (SQDCM)
- Maintain visual management boards and action trackers
- Support cross functional initiatives with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering
