What You’ll Do
- Portfolio Management: Take ownership of a portfolio of 2,700–3,000 active business accounts, specifically focusing on those 60+ days overdue.
- High-Impact Outreach: Conduct approximately 64 daily touchpoints via phone and email to secure payment status and resolve aged balances.
- Problem Solving: Identify "red flag" accounts and provide effective resolutions for payment hurdles, including reconciling unapplied cash and managing credits/debits.
- Client Engagement: Act as a professional liaison to client Accounts Payable departments, maintaining a service-oriented attitude while meeting collection goals.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in high-volume B2B collections.
- Technical Proficiency: strong MS Office skills (specifically Excel) and experience navigating ERP systems.
- Financial Acumen: A solid understanding of basic accounting principles (credits/debits) and the ability to reconcile complex accounts.
- Communication: Top-tier verbal and written skills; you must be able to stay professional and persuasive under pressure.
