Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Direct Patient Flow: Act as the primary liaison for all telephonic patient interactions.
- Optimize Schedules: Manage provider calendars to ensure clinic efficiency.
- Facilitate Communication: Expertly route calls to clinical representatives and internal departments to provide timely patient resolutions.
What You’ll Need
- Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency with multi-line telephone systems and complex medical scheduling software.
- Exceptional Communication: Natural interpersonal skills with the ability to connect authentically with patients and colleagues from all walks of life and diverse cultural or educational backgrounds.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Analytical reasoning skills to navigate scheduling hurdles and find creative solutions for patient needs.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to remain calm, professional, and effective in a fast-paced, high-pressure clinical environment—whether working independently or as part of a collaborative team.
- Digital Literacy: High level of comfort with office technology, MS Office, and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- Integrity & Discretion: A deep commitment to patient privacy and a strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality guidelines.
