We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to lead our clients AP department within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a critical leadership role responsible for the full-cycle disbursements process, vendor relationship management, and the supervision of a dedicated AP team.

Responsibilities

• Department Leadership: Supervise and mentor the AP staff, ensuring accuracy in data entry, coding, and timely payment processing.
  
  
• Full-Cycle AP Management: Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, from invoice receipt and three-way matching (PO, Receiver, Invoice) to weekly check runs and electronic payments.
  
  
• Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and negotiating payment terms where applicable.
  
  
• Month-End Close: Lead the AP month-end close process, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting to the Controller.
  
  
• Compliance & Tax: Ensure adherence to internal controls and oversee Sales and Use Tax (SUT) compliance related to manufacturing exemptions.
  
  
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for AP automation and workflow efficiencies within the ERP system.
  
  
• Audit Support: Coordinate and provide documentation for internal and external audits.
