- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of payroll tax experience, including multi-state and multi-company environments
- Knowledge of payroll processes, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Experience working with third-party payroll providers (e.g., ADP Tax Services)
- Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll and familiarity with payroll systems
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws; stay current on regulatory changes and provide recommendations
- Manage payroll tax activities, including filings, deposits, reconciliations, and reporting to government authorities
- Review and validate payroll tax filings and deposits processed by third-party providers to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Research, analyze, and resolve payroll tax discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
- Handle agency tax notices and correspondences, coordinating responses with third-party providers and government agencies
- Perform jurisdictional reconciliations and support internal and external audit requirements
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve employee payroll tax inquiries within SLA timelines
- Execute system testing and support process improvements to enhance payroll tax accuracy and efficiency
- Assist with quarterly balancing and year-end payroll tax processes
- Support expatriate and inpatriate payroll tax activities, ensuring proper documentation and compliance
- Experience with payroll tax audits and reconciliations
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or case management tools
- Exposure to international payroll tax considerations (expatriates/inpatriates)
