The ideal candidate is a Figma Subject Matter Expert who can navigate the complexities of building scalable design systems while collaborating deeply with Product Owners and Developers to bring world-class features to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Lead holistic digital design strategies and set the direction for current and future UX/UI ecosystems.
- Design Execution: Act as both a strategic leader and a hands-on designer, creating everything from whiteboard sketches and user flows to high-fidelity mock-ups and interactive prototypes.
- Figma Governance: Implement and advise on Figma best practices, including file organization, structure, and workflow optimization.
- Systems Management: Build, maintain, and scale robust design libraries and reusable component systems to ensure brand consistency.
- Auditing & Optimization: Evaluate multiple digital assets and mobile experiences to identify opportunities for improved usability, consistency, and design quality.
- Agile Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers to translate business needs into technical requirements and provide developers with annotated wireframes and screen flows.
- 8+ years of professional experience as a UX/UI or Product Designer.
- Deep Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Figma and its advanced features (components, variants, auto-layout, etc.).
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to translate complex insights into clear design recommendations and execution plans.
- Research Fluency: Direct experience with user research methodologies and using those insights to prioritize experience capabilities.
- Portfolio: A diverse online portfolio demonstrating sophisticated design rationale, problem-solving, and a range of project types.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
