We are currently interviewing for a contract Accounting Clerk to manage the daily financial transactions of a construction company with precision and integrity. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate ledgers by overseeing both accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure the smooth operation of our financial department. Responsibilities

• Process outgoing payments by verifying invoices, reconciling monthly statements, and ensuring all disbursements are authorized and issued in a timely manner.
• Monitor incoming revenue by preparing bank deposits, posting customer payments to the general ledger, and following up on overdue accounts to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to generate financial reports, resolve billing discrepancies, and assist with month-end closing procedures.
• Must be able to manage high volume invoice processing.
• Must be able to work with the aging receivable schedule and account for overdue amounts and reconciliations.
