We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Specialist to join a growing team on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Accounts Payable (AP) and/or Accounts Receivable (AR) experience who is looking to contribute quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment (AP)
- Manage billing, cash applications, and collections (AR)
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end close activities
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams as needed
- 2+ years of accounting experience, with a focus in AR, AP, or both
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (ERP experience preferred)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
