Are you an expert in Integrated Supply Chain Management (ISCM) with a talent for optimizing inventory across complex national networks? We are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to drive our national inventory strategy. In this role, you will be the Subject Matter Expert for all planning functions, ensuring optimal inventory levels across our Parts Distribution Centers (PDCs) while maintaining world-class service levels for our dealer and field organizations.
The Impact You’ll Make
- Strategic Procurement: Manage parts availability based on demand, determining replenishment volumes and stocking locations to hit KPIs for service levels, inventory turns, and value.
- Vendor Negotiation & Performance: Negotiate delivery plans for critical back-orders and campaigns. You will track and report on vendor service level performance to ensure contractual compliance.
- Order Management & Optimization: Optimize logistics costs by determining the best transportation modes while managing daily order volumes and lead times.
- Forecasting & Trend Analysis: Utilize advanced forecasting techniques to schedule orders for domestic and international vendors. You will perform root-cause analysis on back-order trends and supply constraints to propose alternative sourcing paradigms.
- System Stewardship: Act as the point of contact for planning processes, monitoring proposed vs. ordered lines, and recommending safety stock adjustments within the material matrix.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management is required.
- Experience: 2–5 years in Integrated Supply Chain Management (ISCM). Experience in automotive, parts & accessories, purchasing, or finance is highly preferred.
- Technical Mastery: Hands-on proficiency in JDA (Blue Yonder) and SAP is mandatory.
- Analytical Skills: In-depth understanding of forecasting techniques, root-cause analysis, and inventory parameter optimization.
- Adaptability: Ability to work flexible hours and travel domestically as required.

Responsibilities
• Reviews parts availability based on demand and determine volumes, value and stocking locations for parts replenishment and maintenance of an inventory that will achieve such key performance index targets as service level, turns goals and inventory level (value) for each assigned parts group.
- Exemplify "SMART stocking strategy and make decisions in line with material matrix
- Solid understanding and utilization of Supply Chain Principals
• Negotiates and establishes delivery plans to ensure parts availability of nationwide critical vendor back-orders, modification and campaign parts, initial stock orders and critical VPC orders. Updates the delivery commitment information from Vendors for MB Dealers and Field organization.
- Track and Report vendor service level performance referenced in contract
• Ensures all retail back-orders are adequately addressed with supplier orders and reconciled with PAC and/or Parts Technical. Initiate special procurement process and escalates critical back orders to vendors to avoid buy back situation and/or customer dissatisfaction.
- Root Cause analysis on specific parts which lead to proposing alternative suppliers
• Ensures proper order management, taking into consideration vendor lead times, in transit inventory. Determines the best mode of transportation to be utilized in the procurement of inventory, ensuring that logistics costs are optimized and highest possible profit margin is attained.
