We’re looking for a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and enjoys being part of a team that keeps operations running smoothly every day.
salary: $18 - $21 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 9 AM - 5 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Inspect products for damage, defects, or missing items
- Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers safely
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing, labeling, and staging orders
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update warehouse systems
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
- Use barcode scanners and shipping software to track shipments
- Process returns and damaged goods according to company procedures
- Ensure shipping documents and records are completed correctly
- Follow OSHA safety standards and company warehouse procedures
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free
- Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors to meet shipping deadlines
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies
- Assist with order fulfillment and distribution operations
- Verify shipping labels, tracking numbers, and delivery information
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals
- Support general warehouse operations as needed
