What You’ll Do:
- Manage Shipments: Oversee all shipping and receiving, ensuring 100% accuracy by verifying bills of lading, packing slips, and purchase orders.
- Inventory Control: Conduct daily cycle counts, report discrepancies, and work closely with Purchasing and Accounting to maintain real-time data in QuickBooks.
- Hands-On Operations: Safely operate a forklift to stock inventory and prepare products for shipment, including building custom skids and crates.
- Logistics Coordination: Schedule freight pick-ups and coordinate with carriers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Kitting & Quality: Perform visual inspections of received items and kit work orders to keep production moving efficiently.
- Experience: Proven background in warehouse management, shipping/receiving, or global logistics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar ERP/data entry systems.
- Physical Capability: Must be comfortable being on your feet most of the day and able to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Equipment Skills: Experienced and safe forklift operator.

Responsibilities
- Manage the shipping and receiving of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Receive inbound shipments and signature upon receipt
- Receives materials and verifies that incoming shipments are correct by comparing items and quantities against bills of lading, packing slips, and purchase orders
- Inspects packages for any damage marks receiving date on all packing slips, labels deliveries, and allocate them to their designated place
- Proper stocking of inventory in correct locations using a forklift
- Completes packing list, shipping BOL, and other shipping documents required for domestic and international shipments
- Arrange all shipping arrangements with freight companies and schedule pick-ups
- Daily inventory cycle counting, inventory reporting, and adjusting inventory as needed.
- Works with Purchasing & Accounting department to resolve discrepancies
- Prepares products for shipment per scheduled ship dates set forth by production including building skids and crates.
- Verifies orders to be shipped are properly packaged, and labeled accordingly and all documents are completed
- Enter and maintain all required computer data entry using QuickBooks
- Picks up and delivers parts to and from various suppliers
