 As our General Accountant, you will take true ownership of the accounting department’s daily operations. You will move away from rigid, siloed roles and instead engage in a cross-trained environment where collaboration is key. Your focus will be on ensuring all daily activities are handled with precision to guarantee a seamless month-end close.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Month-End Close: Execute journal entries, accruals, and prepayments to ensure a timely and accurate monthly close process.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements, investigating and resolving any variances.
• AP/AR Oversight: Provide back-up support and oversight for the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring vendor payments and customer billings are processed correctly.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements and assist in budget-to-actual variance analysis for plant leadership.
• Audit Prep: Maintain organized supporting documentation and assist with year-end audit requests.
