As the 1st Shift Warehouse Supervisor, you will be the key operational leader for the morning shift. You will be responsible for overseeing all inbound and outbound logistics activities, managing a team of warehouse associates, and ensuring that all operations run smoothly and meet organizational goals. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive performance, solve complex problems, and foster a positive, productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of warehouse associates to achieve daily productivity, accuracy, and safety targets.
  
  
• Conduct daily shift briefings, assign tasks, and monitor performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
  
  
• Manage time and attendance, scheduling, and labor planning for the 1st shift.
  
  
• Oversee and manage all 1st shift warehouse functions including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and cycle counting.
  
  
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
  
  
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  
  
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the shift, communicating operational status and issues to management and cross-functional teams.
  
  
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of shift activities, performance metrics, and inventory.
  
  
• Resolve operational roadblocks, employee issues, and discrepancies swiftly and effectively.
  
  
• Expertly utilize our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to direct operations and troubleshoot issues.
  
  
• Leverage MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting, scheduling, and data analysis.
