Your Day-to-Day:
- Financial Accuracy: Ensure accurate and timely compilation of accounting information, analysis, and reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Closing Support: Lead and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting closes for assigned functional areas.
- Intercompany Reconciliations: Complete and oversee the monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts, proactively resolving outstanding balance issues.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Accurately maintain general ledger accounts, research and interpret financial trends, and explain budget variances or fluxes.
- Management Reporting: Support the preparation and distribution of monthly management reports and statistical data across key accounting areas (cash, accruals, AR, AP, foreign exchange).
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of dedicated accounting or financial reporting experience.
- Skills: A solid math aptitude and strong analytical capabilities.
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; CPA certification is a plus.
- 3 or more years of accounting experience, preferably with a Big Four firm.
- 1+ years working in a medium to large, multinational company.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management tools (HFM, Hyperion Essbase, or similar consolidation software).
- Proven ability to analyze and research large datasets from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

- Support the preparation and distribution of monthly accounting management reports and statistical research data based on areas within accounting, such as cash, accruals, accounts receivable, accounts payable, intercompany reconciliations, foreign exchange, etc.
