We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's growing finance team in the Tampa area. This is a fantastic Contract-to-Hire opportunity for a professional looking to plant roots with a dynamic company, showcase their skills, and seamlessly transition into a permanent role.

You will manage the full cycle of accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and cash flow management while maintaining excellent relationships with our clients.



salary: $24 - $27 per hour

Responsibilities

• Billing & Invoicing: Prepare, verify, and issue accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.
  
  
• Payment Processing: Post and reconcile daily cash receipts, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card payments.
  
  
• Collections & Follow-up: Monitor aging reports and proactively connect with clients regarding overdue accounts with a professional, customer-service-oriented approach.
  
  
• Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and chargebacks.
  
  
• Reporting: Assist the accounting team with month-end closing activities and generate AR aging summaries.
