Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed visual inspections of products using low and high-power magnification equipment
- Measure and verify part dimensions using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and other precision instruments
- Use a variety of hand gages and measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, digital height gages, etc.)
- Determine product acceptance or rejection based on established specifications and quality criteria
- Accurately document inspection results for both conforming and non-conforming parts and tooling
- Create and maintain clear, organized inspection reports and quality documentation
- Work with engineering drawings, specifications, and technical procedures to ensure compliance
- Support overall quality operations and perform additional duties as assigned
- Minimum 5 years of inspection experience in a fast-paced technical or manufacturing environment
- ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.)
- Experience using a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), preferably with PC-DMIS software
- Prior experience working in an ISO/AS certified quality system environment
- Ability to perform detailed visual inspection work, including extended use of microscopes
- computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation/reporting skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, and bending throughout the shift
