Our client is looking for an Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper to join their onsite team. In this role, you will manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate general ledger accounts, and support the preparation of key financial statements.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with QuickBooks Enterprise, a solid grasp of basic accounting principles (including the relationship between the Balance Sheet and P&L), and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders with receiving documents, resolve discrepancies, and prepare weekly check runs/ACH payments.
  
  
• Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and issue customer invoices, monitor aging reports, post daily cash receipts, and conduct polite collections follow-ups as needed.
  
  
• General Ledger & Reconciliations: Maintain and reconcile GL accounts, bank statements, and credit card accounts to ensure total accuracy.
  
  
• Financial Literacy: Assist with month-end closing procedures; possess a clear understanding of how daily transactions impact the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
  
  
• Inventory & Costing Support: Collaborate with the production/warehouse teams to help track inventory adjustments and variances within QuickBooks.
