Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose & Conquer: Wire, program, and troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), VFDs, servo drives, and HMI panels.
- Keep the Power Flowing: Maintain and repair high-voltage electrical distribution systems (up to 480V, 3-phase), motor control centers (MCCs), and industrial heating/heating-control systems.
- Preventative Magic: Execute routine electrical PMs on cutting-edge manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Safety Champion: Strictly adhere to OSHA, NEC, and NFPA 70E (Arc Flash) standards, ensuring a zero-harm environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with engineering to upgrade existing machinery, optimize automated cycles, and implement smart manufacturing solutions.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as an industrial electrician or maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment (plastics, chemical, or continuous-processing experience is a massive plus!).
- Technical Chops: Deep understanding of electrical schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: The ability to look at a malfunctioning machine, think critically, and trace the root cause efficiently.
- Tools of the Trade: Proficient with multimeters, megohmmeters, oscilloscopes, and PLC programming software.
- Team Spirit: A healthy work ethic, great communication skills, and a willingness to occasionally support emergency breakdown calls.
