Responsibilities
Position Summary: Join a collaborative team responsible for operating high-speed extraction, scanning, and mail sorting equipment within a high-volume lockbox facility. This fast-paced production role ensures the accurate, timely handling and digital conversion of incoming financial mail and payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain specialized mail sorting, extraction, and scanning machinery (OPEX 150/IEM, Falcon, MPS 40).
- Receive, sort, and prepare bulk incoming mail for processing according to established client procedures.
- Monitor machine performance, clearing any paper jams or misfeeds, and resolving or escalating equipment issues promptly.
- Perform basic quality control checks to verify document accuracy and ensure strict production deadlines are met.
- Support general mailroom functions, including lifting and carrying mail trays weighing 10-15 lbs as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a mailroom, lockbox, or fast-paced production environment is preferred but not required.
- Experience operating OPEX Falcon, 150/IEM, or OPEX 40 machinery is highly preferred.
- strong attention to detail, basic troubleshooting skills, and great time management.
- Ability to follow detailed compliance, audit, and operational procedures diligently.
