1. Experience & Education
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Preferred Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in a Lockbox, Mailroom, or fast-paced production environment.
- Equipment Familiarity: Highly prefer candidates with prior experience operating specialized OPEX mail extraction and scanning hardware (specifically OPEX Falcon, OPEX 150/IEM, or OPEX MPS 40).
- Machinery Operation: Ability to efficiently operate, monitor, and troubleshoot mail sorting, extraction, and high-speed scanning machinery.
- Exception Processing: Skilled in processing rejected items and verifying documentation accuracy through basic quality checks.
- Logistics & Material Handling: Experience receiving, sorting, and staging incoming physical mail and payment batches.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to meet the physical demands of a mailroom production environment, including lifting and carrying trays of mail weighing 10–15 lbs.
- Time Management: Good organizational skills to monitor machine performance, identify/clear paper jams, and complete work within rigid daily deadlines.
- Collaboration: A team-oriented mindset to collaborate with and support general mailroom units as needed.
