Key Responsibilities
- Shipping & Inventory: Monitor Balance to Ship (BTS) reports to resolve shortages, build job lot loads, and assist with mill physical inventories.
- Yard & Carrier Coordination: Manage daily yard checks, check in truck drivers, coordinate warehouse shuttles, log dropped trailers/containers, and communicate trailer reject statuses.
- Rail Fleet Management: Track, log, and order railcars. Handle railroad disputes, manage demurrage, update rail car logs, and secure morning switch lists.
- Documentation & Compliance: Generate Canadian Customs Invoices in SAP. File Bill of Ladings (BOLs) and inspection forms, and process waybills for chemical cars to assist procurement.
- Experience: Proven track record in logistics, shipping coordination, or rail yard operations.
- Systems: Experience with SAP (specifically customs/shipping invoicing) and inventory systems.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with carriers, load centers, and railroads. data maintenance habits and an ability to adapt to changing shift priorities.

• Preferred experience in customer service within a logistics department or manufacturing environment

• Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills
