What You Will Do
- Lead Project Execution: Manage commercial glazing, storefront, and curtain wall projects from pre-construction to delivery.
- Financial Oversight: Track project profitability, manage budgets, process change orders, and handle forecasting.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with estimating, drafting, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure seamless sequencing.
- Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, running project meetings and site walkthroughs.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior team members and coordinate field labor and sub-contractors safely and efficiently.
- Experience: 7+ years of dedicated project management experience in architectural metal, glazing, storefront, or curtain wall systems.
- Regional Knowledge: strong familiarity with NYC and tri-state area commercial construction sequencing and logistics.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, interpret specifications, and utilize PM software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project). AutoCAD experience is a plus.
- Logistics: Valid driver's license required; flexibility to split travel between the field/city and our Long Island office.

Responsibilities
- Manage commercial architectural metal and glass projects from award through closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement logs, and manpower planning.
- Track project financials including forecasting, billing, cost controls, and profitability.
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation.
- Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget while maintaining quality standards.
- Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions.
- Review contracts, drawings, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings.
- Coordinate with estimating, drafting, engineering, fabrication, purchasing, and installation teams.
- Monitor fabrication progress, material lead times, deliveries, and installation sequencing.
- Coordinate field labor, subcontractors, equipment, and site logistics.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety requirements and company safety policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Lead project meetings, jobsite walkthroughs, and coordination calls.
- Mentor Assistant Project Managers and support team development.
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to repeat business opportunities.
- Attend site visits and travel to project locations as required.
