This role demands a professional with a background in multi-entity accounting, personnel management, and process optimization. This is a direct hire opportunity role offering a base salary ($105k-$120k) + bonus and an excellent benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance covered 100% for the employee! Responsibilities
- Personnel Management: Direct, evaluate, and develop a Staff Accountant, ensuring operational accuracy in daily ledger postings, cash applications, and reconciliations.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the full month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing cycles verifying appropriate revenue and expense allocations.
- Consignment & Contract Analysis: Evaluate monthly consignment schedules and unique lease agreements to ensure accurate revenue recognition, cost accounting, and contract compliance.
- Treasury & Cash Operations: Review and approve vendor disbursements, monitor outstanding balances, and provide daily cash positioning metrics to executive leadership.
- Audit & Tax Compliance: Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, compiling comprehensive schedules and supporting documentation for year-end audits and corporate tax requests.
- Continuous Improvement: Assess current accounting workflows to enhance internal controls, minimize variances, and identify opportunities for general ledger automation.
