Our organization is seeking a skilled Data Governance Analyst to join our growing data team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our data strategy by developing and implementing robust data governance policies. Your mission will be to ensure the highest standards of data quality, security, and regulatory compliance across the entire organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Policy Development: Create, implement, and enforce comprehensive data governance policies and enterprise standards.
  
  
• Compliance & Quality: Continuously monitor and assess data quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
  
  
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional business units to clearly define data ownership, stewardship roles, and accountability.
  
  
• Training & Advocacy: Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to internal teams on data governance best practices.
  
  
• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on data governance metrics, maturity levels, and areas of improvement to leadership.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  
  
• Core Knowledge: A strong, foundational understanding of data governance frameworks and data management best practices.
  
  
• Compliance Savvy: Familiarity with major regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).
  
  
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience working with modern data governance tools and technologies (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica).
  
  
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts for non-technical audiences.
