- Customer Service & Counter Sales: Assist walk-in customers, roofers, contractors, and homeowners. Take phone calls, handle inquiries, and process customer orders accurately.
- Operations & Logistics: Help coordinate transportation, manage back-order reports, and enter incoming/outgoing orders into the system.
- Product Knowledge: Work daily with building products, roofing materials, shingles, and siding.
- Proactive Work Ethic: Maintain an organized work environment, keep yourself busy during downtime, and consistently put forth great effort.
- Emergency Responsiveness: Work closely with the team during critical weather/storm surges where "all hands on deck" are required to support our clients' urgent supply needs.
- Experience: Previous experience in roofing, siding, or building materials is highly preferred. However, we are completely willing to train the right person with a teachable attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Traits: Proactive, driven, and dependable. You must be someone who takes initiative without needing constant supervision.
- Schedule Flexibility: Ability to start early (6:45 AM) and stay until the job is done for the day (occasionally up to 4:30 PM or 5:00 PM depending on workload).
- Communication: Comfortable working directly with both professional contractors (roofers) and everyday homeowners.
