Key Responsibilities
- Technical Consultation: Act as the primary contact, leveraging your electrical product knowledge to provide technical support, verify specifications, and recommend the right components.
- Order & Project Oversight: Manage customer orders from placement to delivery. Coordinate large-scale electrical project orders, ensuring product availability matches project timelines.
- Sourcing & Vendor Relations: Research and source specialized, non-stock items directly from electrical vendors. Negotiate pricing and lead times to fulfill unique customer requests.
- Strategic Pricing: Use your industry insight to negotiate order pricing, margins, discounts, and delivery terms, maximizing profitability.
- Solution-Based Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell, and suggest viable alternative electrical products when a requested item is backordered.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with operations, purchasing, and outside sales to ensure accurate inventory levels and seamless delivery.
- Proven experience in account management, customer service, or inside sales within an industrial or electrical supply environment.
- strong technical aptitude—ability to read product descriptions and understand electrical distributor systems.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.

- Technical Support: Serve as the primary contact; leverage electrical product knowledge to provide technical support, verify specifications, and recommend alternative components when items are out of stock.
- Sourcing: Research and source specialized, non-stock items from electrical vendors. Negotiate pricing and delivery directly with suppliers.
- Pricing & Negotiation: Utilize industry knowledge to negotiate order pricing, margins, discounts, and delivery terms to maximize profitability while meeting client needs.
- Project Coordination: Oversee large-scale electrical project orders, tracking project timelines and ensuring component availability.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with inventory, logistics, and outside sales teams to maintain proper stock levels of core electrical products and ensure accurate billing.
- Issue Resolution: Analyze system reports to proactively expedite open orders. Resolve customer non-conformances and shipping delays with immediate containment actions.
- Sales Growth: Identify up-sell opportunities by matching complementary electrical supplies to the customer’s business application.
- Continuous Training: Participate in ongoing manufacturer-led training to stay current on evolving electrical industry products and systems.
