Responsibilities
- Oversee weekly payment cycles, which includes reviewing staff-processed payments, conducting final invoice approvals before accounting system integration, and generating AP reports for Controller authorization.
- Execute weekly bank reconciliations, upload Positive Pay files, and resolve any related banking exceptions.
- Set up and maintain new vendor profiles within the accounting software. Process monthly corporate credit card statements and handle highly sensitive or confidential vendor invoices.
- Manage the internal accounts payable communication inbox and drive the annual 1099 tax reporting process.
- Execute bi-weekly payroll operations for a growing team of over 50 employees.
- Handle the digital onboarding of new hires, process employee separations, and configure annual benefit plan updates within the payroll platform.
- Generate and record all payroll-related journal entries and calculate monthly labor allocations across various corporate entities.
- Administer third-party submissions for 401(k), HSA, and FSA programs. Conduct routine reconciliations for insurance and benefit billings.
- Coordinate annual worker's compensation and 401(k) audits, oversee the generation of year-end W-2 forms, and complete mandated U.S. Census Bureau or related compliance surveys
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the payroll department by managing the internal payroll inquiry inbox and processing employee status or benefit adjustments.
