Responsibilities
- The Guardian of Deadlines: Interpret civil litigation pleadings, court orders, motions, and USPTO patent/trademark correspondence to calculate exact due dates.
- Database Mastery: Enter, update, and track critical dates within the firm’s centralized software, configuring automated reminder triggers and cascading deadline sequences.
- Litigation Strategy Support: Build backward-planning sequences for trial deliverables (exhibit lists, motions in limine, jury instructions) and track interlocking discovery windows (interrogatories, depositions).
- IP Lifecycles: Monitor and log compliance windows for trademark/patent prosecution lifecycles, maintenance fees, and renewal schedules.
- Risk Management: Conduct periodic audits of active matters, generate custom daily/weekly reports, and sync directly with legal teams to ensure upcoming filings are seamlessly on track.
