Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and schedule front-desk staff. Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment.
- Oversee patient billing, accounts receivable, and collections. Manage dental insurance claims, appeals, and aging reports with precision.
- Master the art of the productive schedule. Keep the chairs full, minimize cancellations, and ensure a smooth flow between hygiene and restorative blocks.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix / Eaglesoft)
- Deep understanding of dental codes, insurance verification, and claim troubleshooting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication. You should be as comfortable negotiating with insurance companies as you are comforting an anxious patient.
- Last, and possibly most importantly, be the 'IT' factor in the office. Foresee any problems before they happen, whether with inventory, employees, or contracts, we rely on you to alert us ahead of time to help
