Responsibilities
- Run Union Payroll: Process weekly payroll for all team members via Dayforce in line with Union Collective Bargaining Agreements.
- Audit & Reconcile: Keep timekeeping records crisp, accurate, and fully reconciled.
- Manage Records: Maintain shift rotations, schedules, assignments, route systems, and pay policies.
- Be the Go-To Resource: Resolve employee payroll inquiries fast and support cross-department collaboration with HR and Operations.
- Stay Compliant: Handle union dues, garnishments, and federal/state/local payroll regulations with confidence.
- Special Operations: Execute raises, bonuses, retro-pay, live check distributions, and management reports.
- Payroll Experience: Proven experience handling payroll in a fast-paced or large organization.
- Tech Savvy: Hands-on experience with Dayforce (or similar enterprise systems) + Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Industry & Union Knowledge: Prior experience in transportation or union environments is a huge plus!
- Eye for Detail: Top-tier data entry skills, multitasking abilities, and rock-solid organizational skills.
- Safety & Team First: A proactive communicator who values safety management principles and office collaboration.
