- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or another business-related discipline.
- CPA or other professional accounting certification is preferred.
- 2–5 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably within corporate accounting, financial reporting, or investment accounting.
- Experience supporting monthly and quarterly financial close processes.
- Background in account reconciliations, journal entries, exception resolution, and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP; exposure to U.S. Statutory Accounting is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities
- Review accounting system outputs to ensure the accurate accounting treatment of fixed income investments under U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory reporting requirements.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, monthly close activities, income allocations, asset allocations, and pricing analytics.
- Perform transaction processing and reconcile investment account balances, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close processes while ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of internal management reports and external financial reporting.
- Execute and document SOX controls for assigned accounting processes to ensure compliance with internal control requirements.
- Research accounting guidance and evaluate existing accounting processes to identify efficiencies, strengthen controls, and recommend process improvements.
- Analyze complex accounting issues, proactively identify risks, and develop practical solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, accounting, and investment teams to support business objectives and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Participate in special projects and other accounting initiatives as assigned.
