What You’ll Do (Responsibilities as Opportunities):
- Drive Data Integrity: Analyze and validate entry packets, verifying part numbers, quantities, commercial invoices, and country of origin to ensure seamless customs processing.
- Master Cross-Border Compliance: Support US and Canadian import/export workflows by reconciling entry data across ACE and CARM portals against broker reporting.
- Manage Essential Documentation: Save, maintain, and archive critical shipping records, Section 232 tariff updates, and OGA/PGA declarations.
- Collaborate & Impact: Partner with project teams, carriers, and outside counsel to track shipments, resolve hold exceptions, and report on weekly output stats.
- Optimize Operations: Assist in crafting SOPs, desk procedures, and gap analyses to continuously elevate our compliance framework.
- Core Compliance Expertise: Proven background in customs compliance with a robust understanding of US import entries and trade operations.
- Unwavering Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in high-volume data entry and data reconciliation across multiple formats.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Excel; exposure to ACE, CARM, carrier portals, or SAP is highly beneficial.
- Clear Communication: Professional written skills for effective cross-functional coordination with carriers, brokers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities
US Imports Support
Inbound Report
• Record daily new shipment information from pre-alerts and inbound reports.
• Monitor exceptions and daily holds.
• Monitor and maintain ISF filing information for ocean shipments.
• Update brokerage billing information using brokers’ portals.
• Perform track-and-trace research as needed.
Duty Accruals / Payments Support
• Record entry information from brokers’ portals, and validate against PPNDA's reporting from ACE portal.
• Add daily and monthly statement information.
• Reconcile information twice a month.
US Exports Support
Outbound Report
• Record export information from correspondence between the order team, warehouse, carriers, broker’s Export team, and the Canadian broker.
• Update shipping information.
